Facial rigging exploration
Rigging is a skill I’ve wanted to explore for quite some time, and I particularly wanted to master facial rigging. For this animation, I created the character in Illustrator, then rigged her in After Effects using Joysticks and Sliders.
To the right you can see the rig’s controls – a series of “joysticks” that control various facial features, and a slider to allow her to blink.
